GWO Certified BTT Installation Module BTT Installation Mechanical Module & BTT Installation Electrical Module GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT) Eduforce Training offers GWO Certified BTT Installation Mechanical and BTT Installation Electrical Modules designed for technicians entering the wind energy industry. These modules provide participants with the essential technical knowledge and practical understanding required to safely support installation activities within wind turbine environments under the supervision of experienced technicians. The GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT) Installation modules are developed in accordance with Global Wind Organisation standards to prepare participants for company-specific technical training and on-site work practices in the wind industry. The course focuses on safe working procedures, correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and awareness of hazardous energies present during wind turbine installation and maintenance activities. Technical work inside wind turbines and across wind farm environments involves exposure to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and stored energy systems. These hazardous energies can create serious risks if proper safety procedures are not followed. The BTT Installation modules help participants understand these risks and develop safe work habits while performing supervised installation tasks. The newly updated BTT Installation Mechanical (BTTI-M) and BTT Installation Electrical (BTTI-E) modules can be delivered either as standalone courses or as a combined training program. The combined delivery of BTTI-M and BTTI-E is equivalent to Version 10 of the BTTI module and is completed in a reduced duration of 16 hours across two full training days. Participants attending the standalone BTTI-E module are no longer required to complete prerequisite training before enrolment. BTT Installation Mechanical Module The aim of the BTT Installation Mechanical Module is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform basic mechanical installation tasks safely and efficiently under supervision. The module includes practical understanding of mechanical components, safe tool handling, torque techniques, installation procedures, and proper use of PPE while working in wind turbine installation environments.
