GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT) GWO Certified BTT Hydraulic Module The GWO Certified BTT Hydraulic Module is designed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to perform basic hydraulic tasks safely within the wind industry. This module forms part of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Technical Training (BTT) standard and prepares technicians for further company-specific technical training. Working inside wind turbines and across wind farm environments involves exposure to hazardous energies such as hydraulic pressure, electrical energy, mechanical movement, and stored energy systems. These hazards can create serious risks if safe working practices are not followed. The BTT Hydraulic Module introduces participants to hydraulic systems commonly used in wind turbines and teaches the correct methods for safe operation, inspection, maintenance support, and troubleshooting under supervision.
