Overview The GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) course by Eduforce is designed for wind industry personnel who may be required to carry out or support rescue operations in wind turbines. This training prepares participants to safely and efficiently rescue injured or incapacitated individuals from various parts of a wind turbine, including nacelles, towers, and blades. Certified by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) and delivered by Eduforce’s expert instructors, this training is critical for maintaining high safety standards on wind project sites. Hub, Spinner & Inside Blade Rescue Safe access and rescue techniques from blade and hub areas Use of rescue equipment in confined, elevated spaces Casualty handling and extraction from narrow compartments 🏗️ 2. Nacelle, Tower & Basement Rescue Rescue procedures from the tower interior and nacelle Use of rescue stretchers and lowering/raising systems Communication protocols and casualty assessment 🚨 3. Single Rescuer – Hub, Spinner & Inside Blade (Optional) Techniques for performing solo rescues in remote blade environments Situational awareness and safety considerations ⚠️ 4. Single Rescuer – Nacelle, Tower & Basement (Optional) Performing rescue alone without team support Emergency decision-making and improvisation Optional modules are recommended for on-site rescue leads or emergency response personnel.
